I'm not a C&W fan. But I car pooled with a guy, who was. He listened to WWVA, which in the 60s was a s**** kicking country station. There was a song about a guy, who was giving away his organs. It was sung by a guy with a really nasal voice, with the twangiest guitar. I will always remember this line of the song.
" I left my spleen in Maybelline, but I'm leaving my heart to you".

Sorry, I went offline awhile and just saw your post. No, I hadn't heard it by their daughter. I just now found that one and listened, but it didn't work for me. I'm spoiled to Tammy's voice. That song (by Tammy) was one of her earliest songs. I went to a live performance and she autographed the album for me with that song on it. Most Tammy Wynette songs I like, but a few I hate, like "Stand By Your Man."

No I can't say I'm a fan either of Georgette but she's made a lucrative living by singing Tammy's songs
