Your herbal supplements probably suck!

It seems that they are a scam for the most part as they don't contain what they say they do and may actually harm you. So, get rid of that crap and stop worrying about living forever and think of the money that you will save. If you want to share what you have been taking with us like you did about the drugs that you were taking at a younger age to enhance your life rather than lengthening it, feel free to fo so...

I don't take any herbal supplements.. However, I do use Turmeric in many of my recipes and that is supposed to have all kinds of beneficial properties..

Quality supplements are available, you just can't buy the cheap junk they sell at Walmart or the Dollar Store, you get what you pay for, as in everything. I take a small spoonful of Turmeric every morning with my other supplements.

How do you take the turmeric? In liquid?

/\/\/\ This.

For years I fought the thinking of my clients and students that just because something was labeled as containing a certain substance, did not mean that that substance was anywhere near being pure. Herbal supplements also have a definite shelf life, which is often exceeded while the herb is still sitting in a warehouse someplace.

QS, I mix it in a little orange juice and shake it in a small glass honey jar I use. Just around an inch, then a little juice to wash it down.

Thanks.. I'll give that a try.

Looking at all the anti-inflammatory properties.. I wonder is it would help my poor pooch Pete.. So many human and pet medications are the same... Yet there ARE things that are ok for humans that are toxic to dogs.

I've been using the google machine.... Yes... people give it to dogs.. 1/4 teaspoon for every 10 pounds... so Pete would get 1 and 1/4 teaspoon in his food a day

I've given Turmeric to my dog, but not on a daily basis, never to my cat...I don't think the cat would even eat anything with the spice on it. I never measured, just put a little in the dog's food.
