Your toenail and foot care. Do it yourself, or have done?

Tis The Season
Some go to clinics or their foot doctors, Senior Centers.
Some take care of themselves and as best they can.
Some like to have done, at Salons for Pedicures.

About once a month, I soak both feet for 20 minutes in warm Epson salt water. Dry, then Misa, trims, cleans each nail. We have a cheap Dremel type tools to grind the nails if needed. Once they are finished I put "Tea Tree Oil" in/on each nail. I also wear compression socks to help my foot problems.

I can still do my toenails but I need a podiatrist occasionally.
Funnily enough today i was contemplating getting a manicure, both my hands are arthritic and my left has tendonitis, I'm right handed. I'll be checking the price tomorrow.

I do it myself and admit I don’t do a great job. Neither do any of the salons.

I don’t understand people that allow their nail polish to chip half off. The point of polish is make your hands look nice. Since I live in a glass house, I shouldn’t be throwing stones.

Oh Lord. The answer to this question is an unequivocal "NO". In my adulthood, I've gone to a podiatrist exactly 3 times. The first to deal with achilles tendonitis. Then ingrown toenails, one of which was pretty nasty. I am not kind to my feet.

That's one of the bad things about getting older. It becomes harder to change your socks, put another pair on, wash you feet, clip your toe nails. You have to get these devices to help you change your socks and clip your nails. Man, when I was 19 years old, my body was much more flexible.

I remember when I first joined SF, I posted a pic
of my feet and toenails, as per the topic, I'd had
a pedicure though, so they looked nice lol
