Your worst fashion fail?

Leisure suits had to be my fashion fail. In the 1970’s, I worked part time in a men’s clothing shop. The proprietor lied like a dog to customers who asked if the look was going to endure, so I owned some leisure suits. I wore each of them maybe two or three times total…

Polyester or rayon shirts for men were also big in the 70’s, supposedly no-iron and replacing cottons. The ideal complement to a leisure suit! They snagged easily, however. Some had prints, like mushrooms or swirling leaves on them…another disastrous look! 🙀

I dunno about this one. "Waistbags" are a thing now?

I haven't seen waist bags and the one in the photo looks bulky and I don't like the idea of having keys on it, I'd spend half my time checking to see if they were still there!

I bought a small cross-body bag which is big enough to put a mobile phone, travel card, small purse and keys in which, is very useful and keeps them safe. I have noticed quite a few in the shops so, rather than a fashion fail, that belt bag might be a fashion win! :)

I can recall at least two bridesmaid dresses that fell under the heading of fashion fail. Can’t blame the bride for one as she told me to pick out my own dress. My own mother later said “what were you thinking!”.
