Hi, GP44. Welcome to the forum.

A tip from an old (as in long term as well as ancient) - politics is something that has been banned by the owner because it leads to heated arguments. If a discussion leads to hot debate inevitably someone will complain and the thread will be shut down. Best not to keep hammering a point if it can be construed as political.

I reiterate, don't labour the point with someone who disagrees with you.
In the long run, you will find your place. There are lots of friends to be made here.

Did you use one of those or the old time crock pot?

Have 2 old crock pots one my mother's & the other was mother in law's.

Yes, that's my Ricky. He passed away last week. Still heartbroken. I put his picture because he's on my mind. I have 2 other tiels. Babu is a cute name! How long did you have him?

I only had mine about 3 years but then I needed to move and a friend with a lonely tiel wanted mine, so I gave him to her. I was still working and poor bird was alone all day. I should have never bought him.

This is a very big forum and the members are many and varied in their opinions. Some of those opinions are obnoxious to me and my opinions are not universally appreciated either. Live and let live could be translated as post and let post.

Accusing me of believing myself owner of the thread and not recognizing other peoples right to an opinion constitutes criticism. Not demanding that anyone stop posting. BTW You certainly didn't feel that way when you impatiently told me to stay within the category parameters just a few days ago. Why the sudden change of mind?

Come on, Radbrook. I never implied that you are stupid.

The only rules that apply to this forum are about getting along with each other and not doing damage to the forum. Matrix is the owner and we are guests, and he hopes we will be civil to each other. He has probably set out a few rules somewhere but I very much doubt one of them is that we must all remain relevant to the topic as described in the headline. 1/2

Well, one has to be stupid to believe that one has the right to restrict what others think or assume ownership of threads. I am not being rude by requesting that responders stay on topic.

I understand your confusion about political posts. Just watch what happens. Eventually someone complains and political threads get shut down. In the meanwhile some posters try to get away with as much as they can.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: A while back I tried on some skinny jeans, came out of the dressing room and the clerk was sitting there talking on her phone. Remember...I'm a size four at 110 lbs. DD was waiting to see the jeans on me, and I asked her if she thought the jeans made my @zz look fat:rolleyes:. The clerk burst out laughing. Hope she wasn't on a business call.
