For one is all the hype about a television show called Game Of Thrones. I never watched it because it is fantasy and I never cared for these types of movies, books and TV shows. Second is the masses waiting in long store lines overnight or for days to be the first at getting the latest version of something.
 

Sports, designer labels, celebrities in general, most politics, American Idol, the K's... I don't even want to say their whole name.
 

Dislike 99% of American TV. I don't watch sports, reality shows, whatever other crappola is being shown. I have zero interest in celebrity. I'm not even sure what the 'rest of the world' is fascinated with.
 
The Kardashians. Remember in Seinfeld when Jerry and George came up with a "Show about Nothing"? I feel that the Kardashians is a "Family about Nothing". And they all got filthy rich from it, too! Most of their fans are airheads that believe their problems and dramas on their reality show are real.
 
TV : Game of Thrones , Downton Abbey, most reality shows , dancing on ice etc ...can't understand the hype..

Standing in queues for the Sales

NO Flash cars for me.. ( hubs has expensive cars)>.I don't,... a car that doesn't cost much to run, gets me from A to B with no problems , and is tidy looking is fine by me..

Other people's grandchildren ( don't kill me, but I don't care what your little darling is doing this month or any month )....

There's loads more ..I'll add them as I think of them... :D
 
Sports..........(I like Kentucky Derby & figure skating, but most don't consider those to be sports)

Much on E TV, cell phones, latest cars or latest fashion, and almost everything....lol...'cept my babies, music, good food and a nice fresh air day outside with sun shining.

People who keep bragging on how their unusual lifestyle & habits make them superior to everyone else. If your regimen is so much better than mine, how come most of the people in today's obits were younger than me? Huh?
And besides that I agree with the things folks above mentioned.
 
Paris Hilton. What does she do? Why does anyone & the media follow her? Jerry Springer and similar shows. Taco Bell. Go there for Mexican food?

Agreed. I cannot understand why people are so fascinated by them. Ugh.
 
Don't know about the rest of the world but I don't give a hoot about dusting or ironing.
At least, that was the first thought that came into my head when I read the thread title.
