I am caring for my neighbors dog Buckley, and their shy kitty spazzie, or something like that, I forgot the name! Haven't gotten a photo of her yet but gonna get some up of Buckley, what a sweetie pie he is, we are going out for a walk on my hiking trail. He has the coolest leash with a little thingy attached that dispenses poopee bags! Guess that means I need to pick up the poopee:doh::giggle: Hey, I always pick up the dog poopee, and anyone who doesn't, shame on you:gettowork::goodjob:

Ok, be back with pics later;)

Congrats Nwlady, looking forward to some pics! The pup will love that walk of yours! :coolthumb:

Yes, his "daddy" takes him up there, so he is used to it. This dog is big as my first horse, LOL!! But they assure me he is good on a leash:lies:

Oh thanks Phil, he's layin over on the other couch lookin at me, oops, no, that's not his face aimed at me:rolleyes:

Dog sitting. How hard can that be??? Just be very, very clear with your commands . . .

It is illegal not to pick up dog mess around here, and a good thing too, special bins are provided for it.

Woohoo! How did it go? Was it an overnight sitting job or a day sitting job? After the first one, the jobs will start coming. Your neighbors will tell their friends, and it will snowball.

Congratulations on walking the dog!

At one point I thought I might have to drop and be like "dead weight" to hold him from going and sniffing another dog. I'm holding him back, and, assuring the lady walking the other dog, that I "could" hold him back:lofl: Her dog was as big or bigger, a bit older though;)

Hi Gxp, it was just 11:00am til 11:00pm. Yes, I hope for more sitting jobs, which I will do as many as possible after I start working in town, which I am hoping will be in the next 30 days (office work/day job)

Hi nwlady, Glad you enjoyed dog sitting and hope more doggies come to stay with you temporarily.
Sure hope the office job in town works out for you.

Ok, got the photos uploaded;) I couldn't catch the kitty dern it, she was sweet too, but too shy to get close too. Wouldn't take long I could tell, she did come out of her "hiding place" and brushed up against the furniture near me;) Little tabby cat;)

buckley all pooped out.JPGBuckley "all pooped out" literally, :playful:

sweet feller.JPGReally a sweet feller. He'd get his rope toy and carry it around hoping for me to throw it for him, but not taking the chance of breaking any of their house up. One thing that is very neat about this pet-sitting job is that they keep their animals clean and you can tell "very, well cared-for". It was a pleasure, and they payed me more then I asked:)

Hi Raven, he is gentle and sweet for sure:) I knew that before I went as my landlords know the couple, and Buckley:) I couldn't care for a dog that was scarey, love them from a distance only. I am guessing at his weight, but I think about 80? That's a loveseat too, that might put him in better perspective, LOL! I'm just 5'2" and 135 w/some arthritis, so not as strong as I used to be;)
