Today I went to a "Life Line Screening" and found all vital signs are good but I measured two inches shorter than I have been! WHAT!? So, in future years if you see something crawling around on your kitchen floor, look twice before spraying it because it might be me. :(

Been a long time since I was measured, but last check I was down an inch.

Get in line, we'll have you back to your old self in no time!!! :):playful::eek:nthego:

Yeah, I read we lose an inch...or two....or three....or four due to "spinal compression."

So far (at 66) I've only lost one.

Same here........I'm down from 73 to 71 1/2 inches, there'a bouts.....disc compression/arthritis....Or , 6'1 down to not quite 6'

I saw that movie not long ago and at this age seeing it, it was totally sad :giggle: So why am I giggling, geesh, but I wonder why some don't seem to shrink but others do

I used to be a fraction over 6 feet and I would round it down to 6 even. Now I'm a fraction under 5-11 and I'm rounding up. So I'm down about an inch and a half. But I've more than made up for it by adding 6 inches to my waist.

Well hell!! Unlike the majority here I’ve gained a half inch! Used to be 5’7 1/2”’and now 5’8”! My posture has improved with dancing, plus my core has gotten very strong. My doc attributes the half inch gain to that. Whatever, I’ll take it!!

I love to dance!! I am so going to keep looking for a different city to move to, where they actually have dance-clubs, and ballroom dances, whatever!!

I was 5' 6" for decades, then a few yrs ago lost 1/2", down to 5' 5 1/2".
But I'm told I have good posture.

When I was working in offices I often wore heels, so I seemed taller...more like 5' 8".

I was 5' 8" but now a little shorter and I'm thrilled about it. I can finally get by in average length pants .I don't have to go from store to store searching for tall size pants and sometimes paying more for them.

Maybe if I live another 10 years I can wear petite!
