Are you the same person you were when you were 7?

Definitely not. Some childhood things have remained the same (I still hate brussels sprouts, and I still love classical music, which I was apparently born loving), but many things about me have changed. Hopefully for the better.

:lol1:
No, I'm certainly NOT the same naive, trusting, believing boy. My parents, especially my mother, beat those attributes out of me. Now I'm a old, bitter, cynical, suspicious right wing atheist, but I'm a hell of a lot happier with life.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; Teach a man to fish and he will bore you senseless :D

I've changed in some ways, but mostly I am the same. I remember being 7yrs old and my much older brother getting drafted. It was the Korean war. That was when I became a worrier and now I am still the same. I worry about almost everything.

I can remember life at age 7. I was a watchful survivor in a quietly desperate family coping with mental illness.
I'm still a survivor but things aren't so desperate now....not terribly cheerful but fairly functional. You don't need gladness to still be a useful person.

I am a big time worrier, too. They have pills for that ya know and booze...just joking but seriously..

No .... (and I remember being age 7 )

I became very distrustful of people as I grew older, and with good reason... so eventually I went from being a timid child to a tough little battler... when in fact I hate conflict .. I'd like to think I'm the same kid deep down inside... but as the title of the song says...

''Life turned her that way''
