How much do you drink, on a regular basis ? And compared to when you were younger ? I think I over do it, and starting tomorrow, I'm going to cut back. Gastrointestinal changes [nothing serious] make me think this. I do drink quite a-bit. Maybe two gallon p/week ? @ breakfast mostly.

i ve never touched the stuff, since, we had those warm bottles of milk as kids in school.....yuk.....it put be of for life ....!

Been on almond milk for five years. It's so easy on the stomach - have converted my daughter's family, too. I drink about 16 oz per day, same for my husband.

I use plain milk in my cereal. When I was a kid my mom made me drink what seemed like gallons of the stuff. I hated it.Back in the 50's it wasn't homogenized. It had globs of cream in it and no matter how much you shook, it just wouldn't mix.
I loved chocolate milk but I rarely got that. To much sugar Mom would say.

I only have real milk a couple of times a year and I miss it.

I stopped buying it because of the carbs and switched to a low carb/low-calorie unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

I use the almond milk on cereal and also to make chocolate milk using SF Hershey's syrup.

My husband loves milk; he drinks a gallon or two a week. I only have milk if I'm eating cold cereal, but I use half-n-half in my coffee.

Well, I'm going to cut back as I said ..... I'll report if I notice any changes for the better ?

I grew up on skim milk. I couldn't stomach whole milk. No ice cream...only ice milk. As an adult I use Plain Unsweetened Almond Milk in my coffee. That's it.

I miss Ice Milk. Why did they stop making it?

I use unsweetened almond milk. They say Milk is for baby cows and that's why we can't digest it well. I have problems digesting it so I switched.

I use a splash in my coffee, and a little milk when I have cereal for breakfast. Sometimes when I can't sleep at night, I'll have a glass of milk (usually accompanied by a graham cracker). It doesn't upset my stomach at all. Some people are lactose intolerant, some are not.

Skimmed milk in my tea... and skimmed milk in cereal once a week (topped with hot water).. I can't take milk with fat in it, even semi skimmed milk I can taste the fat..*ugh*

I've been a life long milk drinker, drink it every day usually with my dinner
If I'm having cereal,I'll have 2% milk ,prefer that to skim milk which to me tastes yucky
Some days,I'll have a glass of chocolate milk with Hershey's syrup or Nestlé's powder with my lunch.

Well, there is a reason many people can't digest milk. Humans are supposed to get one type of milk up to 1 year old. If we didn't get it by then, it's too late because we no longer produce the two enzymes needed to digest it.
The milk of other species (like cows) is designed for an animal that gains several hundred pounds in the first 6 months of life. And the composition is very different than human milk. That's why animals stop drinking mother's milk after they are weaned.

As for calcium, I know several elderly people who drink lots of milk on the advice of their doctor. Their osteoporosis keeps getting worse, so something's wrong with the advice they're getting.
Personally, I can have a spoon of yoghurt or cottage cheese now & then without a problem, but as for milk, it's only soy or almond milk.

Skim in my cereal/oatmeal every day. Last coffee was back in 1970, Doctor said it was irritating my gizzard.
