1.9 Million dollars for a bottle of whiskey!!

Well here's an assessment of it from one of the few people to have tasted it.
Whisky tasting.

In the article I was appalled to see a picture of a whisky with ICE in it!! It's a very contentious subject and I would never add anything other than a small splash of still water to a single malt.

Give me the money and I will buy a bottle of Vanilla Crown Royal and invest the rest!

So you like the vanilla ? I tried it & the honey, I came back to the original , have been drinking it for some time now, and it just tastes best too me.

Have ya tried the apple yet ?

After you posted, I read up on it.....It sounds like one I'd like to try. I'll look for it at the liquor store.
All my inlaws were Crown drinkers, have switched them all to 40 Creek, and when it first came out, it was winning all the rewards, When at the liquor store, and saw someone grabbing another type, I would tell them to try it... If I saw them again, they always said Thank you!

Have ya tried the apple yet ? Have not tried the apple and probably will not. The honey is good but I probably will stick with the original . It is awesome added to a eggnog during the holidays!

I've only tried Bourbon a couple of times but didn't like it. Of course, there are probably loads of different ones with a variety of tastes. Just like malt whisky, there are many different tastes, and I don't like some of them either.

Are you by chance a Scotch drinker 😉 A friend of mine was..big-time, his sons bought him a bottle of J/Walker Blue.....pricey stuff over here. I'm not a Scotch drinker, but it was very smooth, not a bad taste. I of course didn't drink much , due to the gift factor from his boys, But my friend said it was heavenly !!!

I like the occasional scotch and I now live within easy reach of a few distilleries. Not all are open to the public as they only distil whisky for blending (Johnny Walker Blue is in the top league of blended malts) , but many of the popular distilleries are big tourist attractions.

The taste is greatly influenced by the Geography. My favourites come either from the Spey valley in N.E. Scotland or from the Western Isles. They taste very different from one another. My prize bottle is from a single private cask of Glenfarclas 105 (63% ABV) and since Glenfarclas no longer do private casks, this bottle is pretty rare.

Recently I discovered another whisky that I really like. It's called Sweet Smoke from the Ailsa Bay distillery on the West coast.

I can't believe how dumb some people really are now. Can you imagine how many wonderful things could have been done with all that money.

Perhaps the buyer thinks he is abut to do a wonderful thing with it.......Drink it.......😜

A persons $$$ is his to do with as they please, whether we approve or not.
