As I understand it, it is largely about labor unions in general, and Hoffa in particular?

Since I was involved with & a member of a union back in the day, and remember the Hoffa incident well.......I'd like to see this movie.

What gadget / gizmo / service do i need, to watch it here at home ? I know it is not on DTV, pay-for-view. Might be in a year or so ?..... but hell by then I'll forget that i wanted to see it.

It is or was on big screen theaters for a while. Don't know for how long. Check theaters in your area. Yes, it is on Netflix.
Joe Pesci absolutely refused to come out of retirement despite DeNiro begging him to do so. I don't recall what got Pesci finally to agree to do it but thankfully it happened. The movie is 3 1/2 hours long. Harvey Keitel is also in it.

How about that guy named Al who plays Hoffa...

Anyone have any experience with Firestick ? I do not have a "device" so..........
Are you asking about the Amazon Firestick? It just plugs into the HDMI port on your TV, then you subscribe to Netflix. You can usually get a free trial of Netflix but you do need a streaming device. (Firestick, Apple TV, Roku, etc.)

I'm watching it in half-hour installments. It's 3.5 hrs. long. So far, it's a typical Mafia portrayal flick, with everyone doing the same character styles they've done many times in the past.

Thanks for your review, TG. I rather suspected as much from the trailer, but want to see it anyway if only so that I can be in on the conversation when others bring up the movie. Great idea of 1/2 installments - we'll probably do the same unless DH and I find ourselves deeply engaged in it.
