Heel-Less High Heel Shoes for the Ladies

I`ve been seeing those shoes in stores for the past couple of years and they always fascinate me. I would/could never wear them but I`m curious to just try them on to see how in the heck one walks in them. I figure I`d probably break an ankle right there in the store though,so I have passed on trying them lol.

they look ridiculous and would be very uncomfortable transferring the weight bearing to the front of the foot but some will wear them as a fashion statement even if they hurt and probably cripple them in the process!

I can't imagine the stress on the foot also, I don't wear heels, just have two pairs for years now to use if absolutely needed.

Here is the Reddit discussion I found it at: x-ray of a womans foot in high heels.

[h=1]Men wearing high heels[/h]Melbourne real estate agent Rob Ham has started wearing high heels to work! Why? He explains his reasons to Sunrise, along with Harcourts CEO Sadhana Smiles.

Those shoes are not attractive and I would think very hard on the feet.
We all need to be able to walk on our own two feet and need to take care of them when we are young.

Those are some butt-ugly shoes in that link in the OP.
I wear uggs during the winter, flipflops during the summer or barefoot. I like my toes to spread out and breathe.

I love the look of high heels but don't wear them anymore. Walking has become more important than just looking good. :eek:nthego:

An ex was always trying to get me to wear heels and other things I wanted no part of.

In our last conversation about heels, he was going on about all the reasons he liked them.

I finally said if he liked them so much, he should wear them. End of discussion, never resumed.

Bonnie, ditto here! I'm glad if I can simply walk in my flats. Those shoes look absolutely ridiculous to me, but they can probably sell nearly anything to teenagers.

I worked in a law firm that had a dress code prohibition against heels higher than 1½ inches. A woman employee who always wore stilettos (her husband thought they were sexy) caught her heel in a metal carpet strip and did so much damage to her leg she's been in a wheelchair since then. The firm hired a safety expert to reinforce its position against heels. He said if she had been wearing flat shoes, she may or may not have fallen, but the permanent damage to her leg was caused by her shoes.

I wonder if her husband thinks her wheelchair is sexy.
