Netflix is the greatest boon to movie watching since the 25 cent matinee!

Yes, I could go to movie on Saturday afternoon as a kid for a quarter and now I can watch as many movies as I want for ten bucks a month. Fantastic!

I don't have Netflix, have been thinking about getting, but have great memories of those Sat aft $.25 matinees, & even remember when keyboards had cent signs. have €, but no cent! What's with that?

You and one of my daughters! ... she lives in 'movieland' with Netflix... 24/7

Myself, not a movie person. I would rather be doing anything else.

Get it! Trust me it is a great bargain. For what it would cost you to go to one movie out you can watch hundreds at home and TV series to boot! Plus, no commercials, and you can pause a show to go to the bathroom, grab a snack or answer the phone and resume where you left off at your leisure. Don't know how I lived without it...

I'm a Netflix fan too. I watch a lot of old tv shows on it as well. And see some fairly recent tv series that I never saw on cable. Just started watching 'The Killings'. Funny......when I had cable, I would get hooked on certain channels and never see some good programing. Netflix has some original programing too like The Orange is the New Black. It has been nominated for several awards. I pay $8.50/mo and that is a bargain imo.

Netflix looks pretty cool, but will stick with Red Box. We only rent about 4 movies per month. The rest of the time, we watch movies that we own.

Netflix is good for the money but have you seen the choice for rentals these days? The actors that we all come to love and watch seems to be fading away nowadays, it seems our favorite actors are now reduce to playing a supporting role to make a buck . Why do movies have a handgun that shoots 30 bullets at one time at a guy 20 feet away,ya notice the actor always seem to take out the clip to see he has just one bullet left and THAT bullet hits the bad guy right between the eyes (g).
Are we getting that dumb?
BUT last night I got lucky, rented and watched Netflix "Changing Lanes" with Ben Affleck and
Samuel L. Jackson and THAT was a great movie.
I highly recommended it for you guys.

What I like about Netflix is I can now watch movies with my wife at a normal volume level. I'm hard hearing and I was constantly asking my wife, 'What did he/she say?'. I use the sub-titles, it has also allowed me to watch the many great foreign movies that NetFlix carries. I used to abhore subtitles but it is my life line to enhance my entertainment. I also use Redbox for the more current releases. Anything is better than paying the high monthly fees charged by the cable companies to watch reality shows about susposed everyday life such as 'Storage Wars' , 'Pawn Stars' or the 'Kardashians'.

Net Flix is ok. If you have a few hours spare to find a film worth looking at.
