Lots of Time to Spare we have... What to do???

@Catlady she's always talking to me in Spanish & trying to teach it to me. I think it would be fun to be able to say a couple sentences to her and surprise her. She gets a kick out of it. A lot of times she laughs because she will say something to me in Spanish and even though I don't know what she's saying, I know what she's said. LOL

This morning,I rearranged my sock drawer, separating knee &crew socks by color,Fun,WOW!!!

Busy day here. Went up to clubhouse and counted the ceiling tiles. Came home and picked the lint off of my shorts. Got on my iPad and read so much crap I got depressed and sat and pouted for two hours. Jeez, I can hardly wait for tomorrow to get here.

Actually, it was a quiet day, but we did have a large order from BJs delivered. The lady that delivered them the shelfs are starting to fill back up, which is a good thing.

Today, I tackled a task I've been putting off for weeks. The main bearing in the alternator on my trusty old 1997 Dodge Dakota has been making screeching noises, off and on, for the past 2 months, so today, I decided to replace the alternator. What a job...heater and AC hoses all over that area! After about 3 hours of busting knuckles and using some language I haven't used in years, I got it done. I can imagine what a repair shop would charge for labor, etc. Luckily, I found a couple of UTube videos that showed the best way to do it....Thank You, Internet.

Oh, well, I can't complain...the truck is 23 years old, and has a bit over 100K miles....still looks nearly new, and now it should run good again. A few dollars, here and there, to keep it in good shape is a lot better than spending $50K to replace it.

Now, a few minutes to relax, then a good shower, and that's all I'm going to do for this day.

One thing I like about the Spanish language is that the vowels are always pronounced the same, not like in English where it's pronounced differently depending on the word. The a is always ''ah'', the e is always ''eh'' etc The sentences are backwards, just like in Italian, instead of ''John's house'' it's ''The house of John" (La casa de Juan).

Must be something wrong with me, very seldom have to look for something to do, may be a case of , doesn't take much to amuse me šŸ™ƒ.Wish there were more hours in a day. I will admit, i have had lots of days which were a total bust, accomplished a big 0, other than my regular daily routine, it makes me feel good to accomplish something daily, no matter how small or unimportant.

Say "lava sus manos!"

We moved almost a year ago and I *still* have boxes sitting in the garage and closets to unpack. So, in between bouts of coughing up a kidney or two (bronchitis, touch of pneumonia), I've been unpacking, putting stuff away and putting a lot of it aside to donate. Unfortunately, there's no telling when the thrift shops will re-open, so I've been putting the donation stuff BACK into boxes and putting the boxes BACK into the garage and closets. Sigh. Unpack, repack, take a nap. That's my day.

Well, we could have s.......
oops, forgot about the 6 ft. rule.
