When this Pandemic is over I am finally going to be able to get a restful sleep and most importantly spend time with my family. I spoke on the phone with my 9yr old granddaughter today and told her she owes me a billion hugs and kisses and she said she would love to give them to me,and I am going to take them.
 

I had to cancel our little getaway to Atlantic City for our upcoming anniversary. I hope to reschedule that when this blows over. My daughter and son in law rented a house on Lake Champlain months ago for a week in the middle of June. I am so looking forward to this and hope it won't have to be rescheduled also.
Last night I sadly had to cancel our Easter dinner with the few people left in the family. I hope we can all safely get together on Memorial Day. A lot of ifs but I'm hoping for the best.

The Chinese have allowed the people to leave quarantine after three months, so let's hope 3 months is the boundary for this flu. It started here the end of February (I think), so end of May should be okay? Maybe, nobody knows.
 
The main airlines here have cancelled all flight bookings until June ...and I'm thinking even that might be too soon, so I'm not booking anything, I'm just going to sit it out and see what happens...because Spain is so badly hit with this too..

Hope to get to Spain by late autumn ...or if not that way around perhaps my daughter can come here whatever is safest at the time, ...
 
Totally unbelievable and so unsettling how our lives and world came to a stop, it's like a bad dream. Basically our grocery and drug stores, a couple of other stores are open along with gas and convenient, was in our mall this morning to learn that our bank is closed as well, other place in there are closed as well, takeout only from restaurants, still getting mail. Looks like we are all following the safety rules. Will be good to see my daughter and grandkids, online is good but not the same, being in the same town is somewhat strange. Doesn't bother me to stay at home, bit of a loner in that way, i go to get what i need only. Looking forward to getting back to normality, will come in time, wish it was sooner than later. Let's hope for the best.

Buy one hundred and twenty five acres of good land. Twenty-five for vegetables, Twenty for fruit trees, Twenty-five for grapes, Twenty-five for undisclosed profits, Thirty for a pond - stocked with fish. All will be fun in the sun. :D
[edit] and additional half acre for each of my kids and close friends to build to homestead.

ya see that's what I was saying just today. I'd love some chinese... and they are open for take-out, but it's just too risky.. like any take-away venue, I just wouldn't take the risk that things are not as clean as they should be...

I think when this is all over ..I'm going to ensure that I get myself as fit as possible. if another round of this comes again, I want to have a fighting chance at surviving it ( presuming I survive this first wave)

"It's an Aldi, tangy medium cut ........oo 'eck, Holly, you've made me tell you, now everyone will be rushing to their local Aldi and grabbing any that may be left..........groan........and Aldi don't deliver groceries.....even if they did, I'd never get a slot....and, my resident two robins, Gertie and Marmaduke are sulking because they don't like the marmalade I'm putting on their toast now.....groan....." 😊
