They have Thanksgiving in Alaska, don't they? Can a turkey be frozen for 6 months & still be edible?
I can see the next collection of Butterball Hotline Stories.
"Yeh, some woman named Sassycakes called two weeks before Memorial Day! I gave her a Turkey Burger recipe and sent a free bag of charcoal."
You got me again Miss OZ! But at least I know, if you're in tomorrow, the world won't have ended yet.
Every time I hear of someone "Tweeting" something, this is the image that comes to mind.
I think we should all celebrate the fact that we can do this in our lives and it won't matter one little bit.I go outside each Thursday evening to clap with my neighbours, one told me she went out last week and wondered where we all were, until she realised it was Wednesday![]()
Don't let this happen to you:Don't worry Sassycakes, you're not the only one losing their mind, my moods have gone off the wall--I go from feeling pretty good to being the b*%$@ of the East.
I'm right there with you.@In The Sticks Surprised? I bet I'm not the only one with moods from this Pandemic.
And your little frog, too!Watch it with the Kansas jokes buster. *rolls up sleeves & puts hands on hips* LOL
Delete.Frog?
Good you have finally come to your sensesI guess it's from being quarantined but I realized today that I have officially lost my mind. I never remember what day of the week it is, but I've been doing that from when my husband retired. But today I was watching a show on TV and in one of the scenes the family is having Thanksgiving dinner. I started to think if I had gotten my turkey yet. And if I had gotten all the normal things I make for thanksgiving. I asked my Husband what he thinks we need because it will only be him and I this year having Thanksgiving dinner. He gave me a strange look and I asked him what was wrong. He said to me "Barbara, it's only May now." I thought at first he was crazy until he convinced me that it is May. So yes it is official I have lost my mind.![]()
Seriously, I had this happen once over three decades ago and it was definitely a stress/anxiety reaction. It passed once I reoriented myself, but was truly frightening at the time. Don't worry! I have never had that sort of experience again.I guess it's from being quarantined but I realized today that I have officially lost my mind.
