Antifa Rioters Deface World War II and Lincoln Memorials on National Mall

So, a bunch of screaming morons running into traffic on an interstate is what? Just someone who wants to wish me a pleasant day I suppose. SMH. As for the video posted above, no peaceful protest needs to be in the road. You have the right to peacefully assemble on the sidewalk and wave signs, shout out your beliefs etc. In order to block a city street, you would have to have a permit so the police could safely divert traffic. I'm sorry your hatred of all police seems to block out that tidbit of information.

Where have I ever expressed hatred of "all" police? I'm simply speaking against specific incidents where police have used unjustified violence against people who aren't displaying acts of violence. There's a big difference between the two.

I agree that it would be better to peacefully assemble on the sidewalks, and that assembling on the middle of the street should be avoided, but ramming them down and potentially causing life-long injuries or death, was absolutely unnecessary. I can't believe I have to explain this.

If you watch the video (at the 1:14 mark), barricades were placed on a road with parked cars (hardly looking like an interstate), and drivers were nowhere to be shown. Absolutely no indications of drivers being "threatened" are shown.

Never assume anything. Not all of the protesters have burned and looted. Never assume that all of the people there were really there to protest. Never assume that all were sent to cause trouble to make the protesters look bad. Never assume that a peaceful protester causes any damage. We all know that some people are just plain trouble makers, while others are trying to make our country a better place for all of our citizens to live in. But, as long as any of us keep seeing people killed by out of control police officers, there will never be peace. And, it's not just black people who have been victims.

I thought I seen it all in the George Floyd video, but it's obvious to me that dirtbags are rampant in the police force in the USofA.

The national Guard should shot the looter's like they did in the Detroit riots.
Taken from Wikipedia - 1967 Detroit Riot...

"The National Guardsmen and Detroit Police were found to have engaged in "uncontrolled and unnecessary firing" that endangered civilians and increased police chaos".

Absolutely stupefying to know that there exists a percentage of thinkers in this world that are convinced that guns are the end all and be all to all problems.

In stead of using guns to kill use a gun with A tranquillizer that puts people to sleep instead. Like they do with wild animals.
I don't know what the answer is, but meeting violence with violence doesn't work.

The president of the USofA, should turn every police department upside-down and stand them on their heads. What follows should be a good old-fashioned proper house-cleaning spree on a level the people of the USofA have never before witnessed the likes of, and just when the people think the boom has dropped, another boom should fall, and another, and another. Booms should keep falling, and heads should roll at the same speed.

I can't think of a better time to clean up the entire despicable, corrupt, cowardly mess in police forces than right now. In their current state, I see police forces as nothing more than ugly septic boils.

Robert, you have been taken in by a clever maneuver by a white nationalist group posing as an Antifa group. (Antifa stands for "anti-fascist. It is a coalition of groups opposed to fascism and terrorism.) In other words, this was done by the far right, not the far left.

See note #6 above.

We all have to accept the "news source" we support as gospel, SD. The FBI said ANTIFA was instigating at many locations; I'll go with the FBI's report.

Where did the FBI ever say such a thing, C'est Moi? I can't find any such statement; in fact, the FBI is saying just the opposite.

BTW, I don't accept any news source as "gospel." But there are some news sources that I know are spewing nonsense and hatred. Every news source, on TV, in the newspapers, online, whatever, says the same thing. This was a clever bit of "disinformation," which was probably inspired (and maybe instigated?) by Russia! There is no truth to it.

Just think about it for a moment: Who would be more likely to deface a WW2 monument, and a monument to the heroic figure who freed the slaves? A left-wing, anti-fascist group? Or a right-wing group of neo-Nazis?

From CNN... https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/31/politics/outside-influence-extremists-riots-us/index.html

...The FBI and other agencies are tracking groups from both the extremist right and left involved in the riots and attacks on police.

Federal law enforcement officials tell CNN they are aware of organized groups who are seeking to carry out the property destruction and violence, using the cover of the legitimate protests in Minneapolis and elsewhere. Those domestic extremist groups include anarchists, anti-government groups often associated with far-right extremists and white supremacy causes, and far-left extremists who identify with anti-fascist ideology.

Will all this end up becoming a race war over time?

Nope, it will be a war against our rights. You will lose rights, regardless of who is in power....witness the inconsistency of some governors in enforcing curfews, distancing, no worship services, and then an about face. They as Capt Renault in Casablanca blow with the prevailing wind and have no backbone.

It's always been about control, myself I prefer freedom win or lose.

With all the hatred toward law enforcement, what if they pulled all law enforcement?
