Facebook friend requests

I often get a friend request, seemingly from a handsome, somewhat older gentleman, always good looking. Often they have two first names. Tom James. Or Michael Thomas. All frauds, of course, so I just delete them. But tonight, I got a friend request from Ruhul Amin, and his profile picture is of a very handsome dude that looks strangely familiar. It's Paul Hollywood, of British Baking Show fame. LOL! Not only is Rahul is a scammer, he's an idiot. Yeah, I deleted him too.

Wow, I could use some handsome dudes lusting after my friendship....LOL. All I ever get is people who wouldn't have spit on me in high school if I was on fire, now wanting to be "friends".

I get those too .. older, handsome gentlemen with new profiles. I don't even have my photo up .. got one of my labrador retriever photos up. I guess they're all dog lovers

Hubby gets requests from ladies on fitbit,, wanting to "chat".
One even said after he told her he was Happily married,, that she didn't mind sharing. ?????

Just the other day I got a request from my Brother-in-laws sister. My BIL passed away in 1998 and she didn't even call my sister let alone show up at the wake. Just 3 months ago my sister's son passed away and again she didn't attend the funeral or even call my sister .Her son came but she didn't. Guess, do you think I accepted her request ! NO !

This also happens to a friend of mine. People who were mean to her in high school suddenly trying to "friend" her on Fb. She just puts them on "ignore".

I’ve never had a Facebook account so don’t have any of those issues. Cat fishing sure is on the raise though and many people fall for them. It’s actually quite sad. They’ll give their life savings away to some scammer thinking it’s genuine love.
