China has committed "a crime against all of humanity" by deliberately spreading the virus around the world while at the same time, spreading disinformation about its human-to-human properties in the early days of the outbreak, said Gordon Chang, author of The Coming Collapse of China and The Great U.S.-China Tech War.

True — but the sentence where American deaths were mentioned was about China-US trade:

“I don’t think there should be reconciliation [between China and the U.S.] because China has killed tens of thousands of Americans, and this was a deliberate act,”

He worded it that way to sell his book. There's no way a virus targets a particular nation. The deliberate act was lack of transparency from the beginning and that is directly responsible for deaths globally including in China.

Okay. But that section/sentence was about trade between the US and China:

I never heard of "Kitco News." I looked it up on the net and Kitco is a Canadian company primarily in the business of buying and selling precious metals like gold and silver. I'm not sure they are a reliable source of information related to anything other than the gold and silver and other metals market.
 
Pardon my language, but I’m getting really sick of sociopath notoriety seekers coming out of their holes and trying to trying to throw one pile of s**t after another onto the American public trying to see how much fear, damage and hate they can spread. And how many more people they can get to spread it around. Very very damaging to efforts to try to uphold science and social values.

Geezerette is correct. I share her disdain for this tripe. This is something only conspiracy nuts believe. So somebody put his thoughts in a book. Of course, only he has unearthed the dark conspiracy of the wicked Chinese mind. But darn, those Chinese screwed up. They are still killing the own people with that virus.
 
In the ag of bioterrorism being a clear and present danger this nation like others, never bothered to start taking steps to deal with a potential catastrophic attack on it populous. Why not? If America is famous for one thing is it responding not preventing.

China screwed up, and didn't "understand" the coronavirus at first? Well, that's got to mean they are murderous savages who have deliberately killed off a large part of the world's population to give themselves a trade advantage.

Emphasis mine Not understanding the virus at first was part of the problem, naturally. But the CCP is guilty of covering up the severity until it was out of control. Chinese culture is 'face saving' which contributed to the cover up, but communism is likely the taproot of the deception.
