Not a debate on reincarnation....

Don't seem to have a lot in memories, though plenty of déjà vu.
Something to look forward to. Maybe a trip to some forested world to explore....

I do not want to come back to the world of H. sapiens, for the most part. We are a greedy, vile, self-absorbed, violent life form that has turned a once heavenly, healthy planet into a growing cesspool.

While I believe there's, perhaps, something to reincarnation, I definitely would prefer my next round of existence to be in a realm where I'm part of an Alpha species that works cooperatively with its own kind, and all other life forms around it, to keep its world strong, healthy and peaceful.

Failing that, I'm cool with coming back to an upper middleclass Indian family where I will, once again, get into a band at a young age, but will blend Indian pop with modern Western Rock, and become the first international Indian rock star.

I never had any Indian women, in this incarnation. I plan to definitely make amends, next time around! (Lucky Jonas brother. Not sure how he pulled that off!)
 
No rerun for me either, thanks...too much unfairness, uneven playing fields, and circumstances like infertility that can deny you the life you wanted to live. I don't like the downward trajectory of life either...wouldn't it be better to be born old, and gradually grow younger? I hope for either oblivion or an afterlife as a being of incorruptible energy rather than matter...

Only if you could stop getting younger at about 25. Otherwise, continuing to get younger would actually lead to loss of abilities, knowledge and mobility, as sure as getting old does for some.
 
Not sure what "come back" means. Is the person supposed to have any consciousness or memory of their previous life? Or do they just start over again as a brand new person (or animal, or whatever)? If that's the case, how is that different from just being born as a brand new person, period?

I guess I really don't know too much about reincarnation. so the question is meaningless to me.

I don't believe in it, either, but I know a couple of people who do. As I understand it, when you come back you aren't suposed to have any memories of your previous existence, although once in a while a vague memory supposedly sneaks through.

I can relate to that to some degree. So, once we learn the lessons, then what? We forever rest - is that the next level? I feel we will always be learning lessons as long as we are living on this Earth. However, I like your point of view.

I don't have a wonderful life at all and still wouldn't mind coming back for another chance maybe it's something better so I guess my opinion is different
