Cousin's friend died due to Covid, plus hospital's filling up.

A friend of my cousin in Louisiana just told me a friend of hers who lives fairly close to her died from Covid, and another friend close by had to be put on a vent (Covid) but had to be flown to Mississippi due to hospitals being full in Louisiana. And Mississippi told Louisiana hospitals they can't take any more, they are filled up now. 😢

But please do feel free to stomp around defending your Constitutional right to not wear a mask and continue to propagate the ignorant idea that Covid-19 will be gone in November.

We are in bad shape in Mississippi. I'm surprised your friend got here at all. Jackson MS major medical centers had only two vents available last week and one had shipped a patient to Missouri. A friend in Jackson lost both his parents in four days time two weeks ago.

A true reflection of the sub-standard style of parenting that's become all too prevalent in today's self-serving world.

If one of my kids mouthed off like that, I would have marched them back to the car and given them a spanking.

I don't recall anyone saying it would be gone in November ? And I don't know about stomping around but .......... People are going to do what they feel best for themselves, and stressing out over what others do , is likely not healthy either.

Valid ? by whose standards ? Yours or theirs ?

Please tell us how your verified that the people you're referring to were not wearing masks.
Whenever someone dies (reportedly of Coronavirus), people find a way to blame them or blame others for "Giving it to them."
That often happens in families as well. A family member dies & other relatives blame someone. There is a reason for that.
Anger is easier to deal with than grief.
 
Win, the people running around without masks are statistically much more likely to be spreading the disease. Whether it applies to one or two specific cases, is irrelevant. Every time there is one of these mass gatherings with most of the people not wearing masks, there is a big outbreak of the disease in that location within a few days. How much proof do you need?

Gone in November has been said by many maybe not here but on FB. Valid, confirmed by a Dr.

I need more proof than repeating what others say - especially the "experts" who keep backtracking on their advice.

How about the fact that mask wearing, social distance, contact tracing and efficient testing has worked in other countries and other areas of the United States that didn't open up quickly and kept certain areas closed. What more proof do you need?

People who dig their heels in mulishly will not be convinced by obvious, clear evidence right in front of their noses.

Good grief, how many more times will you need it explained that science is always backtracking, testing, confirming, and sometimes completely refuting its theories? This virus has only been with us for a few months. I find it amazing that our researchers have found out as much as they have in so short a time!

There is no "conspiracy" designed to trick us all into wearing masks for no reason. It's hard to even have to explain that with a straight face.

And not only did we all hear "gone in November" (for obvious reasons), we also heard "gone by Easter, the churches will be filled up." We would all like it to be gone, preferably within the next 5 minutes. But that doesn't mean the scientists don't know what they are talking about, but the fanatics and politicians do.
