Protestors Beat Driver To Near Death

I saw that on our TV last night....Disgusting....The Jerk that kicked the guy laid him out on the ground (he looked dead) I heard on the news
He is alive and going to survive...I actually choked up to see what was happening....What is this world coming to....
On our news they did show it again this morning....

I watched some of the vids on YouTube. ANTIFA stayed around a few hours and then left town. The only thing that saved their butts was the cops (security) standing between the cyclists and the ANTIFA members.

Linda, where did you see that anyone had passed away? From the news accounts I found on this, he was admitted to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and was sent home the next day.

I read a little further about this, and it sounds like the truck driver was driving erratically, probably drunk. It also said he was trying to "help" a transgender woman who had had some items stolen from her. (Though what erratic driving had to do with that, I don't understand.) And it sounds like they have identified the attacker, and there is a manhunt under way.

The latest news I can find shows Adam Haner was released from hospital. I hope he wasn't released prematurely and passed away because of it. :(

he kicked the guy in the face from behind. while he was already beat up on the ground. what a real man.

I don't understand why the police are not using more force, seems like their allows this lawlessness. or maybe they are and I just don't see it on the news. they should also charge the person who filmed the video and did not help the guy. he had serious head injuries, he was kicked in the face/head.

this shows you why we need guns to protect ourselves.... all this lawlessness going on and not a cop to be found. police can't be everywhere. if 10 of these people broke in your house what do you do? call cops and wait on them? without a gun to protect yourself you could be dead.

That very thing happened to a local man a few years ago. I believe it was four ? local youths...beat him badly with his own six-pack of canned beer. A local juvenile court judge [Tracy Hunter] sentenced them to writing a book report about it ..... [believe it or not]. She had them wear ankle bracelets , and yet they were seen on video playing basketball in a park down the street from their homes !

The man that was beaten, later died of complications relating to the beating. But no other charges, against the youths were brought.

What's discouraging to me, is few loved ones seem to go postal, as in vigilante.

The last that I knew or read was that the Portland City Police were still ordered to stand down, except if they witnessed a serious crime. Most PCP are making an effort to avoid the area of the protesting.

Yesterday morning, I called the Oregon State Police and asked them why they didn’t assume jurisdiction over this case since the city police initially took a wait and see attitude. The female that I spoke to told me that in Oregon, the city police or the mayor must hand over jurisdiction to them, unlike here in PA where our state police can takeover a case if city police fail to act on it and it’s a case that may be charged as a felony. I apologized for my ignorance and we both agreed that it’s a case that needs to be prosecuted.
 
stand down. amazing. Its insanity to sit back and let the thugs do this. they have no reason to stop if the police wont do something about it.

Black Lives Matter supporters in Portland beat a man who had just crashed his truck unconscious with a vicious blow to the head last night after the man tried to protect someone who was being robbed.

Another one that would rather take info from "who knows who" on Facebook than the real news media, or educated informed sources. This is exactly how other countries interfere with us!
