Senior gamers, what are you playing?

Maybe we started off in the 1980s with space invaders and PacMan and had PONG at home? LOL.

Games will always be with us whether it be Microsoft Solitaire or PS4 and Xbox and PC based games.

What are your favorites? What are you enjoying right now?

I haven't had time, energy, or the ability to find anything in years, but I like matching games like Bedazzled, some word puzzles, and games where I can shoot things like Turkey Shoot and Love's Arrow.

I was a huge fan of Pacman, Ms. Pacman, and even pinball in the 1980s.
A few years ago I noticed a local mall had an arcade, figured it was basically a "kid zone," but there wasn't a single kid in there- everybody playing was middle-aged and seniors!!!

I loved Pacman too - Turkey Shoot was fun. There are some good bowling games as well.

I play games on my phone and tablet. I love Cody Cross, a different kind of crossword puzzle and Words With Friends, so I play those every day. Often but not necessarily daily: Scrolling Words and Fantasy Mahjong. Others are Block puzzle (the colorful version), Word Crush, Bowling, Glow Hockey, Roller Ball (skee ball), regular Mahjong, Word Search and Temple Run.

I still play the oldie Freecell occasionally. Also Cribbage, Hearts, Spades, various Solitaire games. For me it must be free and not require a download. Anything to keep the old brain moving.

Lost Jewels, Farm Bubbles, Angry Birds, Tetris, AB POP and Block puzzle. I also have several art Apps....Happy Color, Oil Painting, Coloring Book. I play all of these every day.

Every so often I’ll get on a word game kick and hyper-focus on every crossword and word building game I can get my hands on. After a few weeks the urge passes....till the next time.

I only play online solitaire and a couple of solitaire games I bought. (I'm not smart enough to play action video games, lol.) What I'm wondering: when flash player is no longer supported come this December, will those online sites close up (they haven't warned to that effect) and will the games I bought no longer play?

Online Pokersszzzz....... Play very low stakes, AKA "the Cheeseburger stakes".

Overall a loser..... but still fun and enjoyable.

I don't really enjoy video games that much. My hand-eye (or thumb-screen) coordination isn't that great so I find them more aggravating than enjoyable. My wife and I do enjoy playing some of the hidden object/exploration/mystery computer games but only do that every once in a while.

I used to play Words With Friends and their version of Boggle (before they started calling it Boggle) for a long time. However as they added badges, prizes, etc... I wasn't having as much fun so I stopped playing them a few months back.

I prefer parlor games to online games, but don't really have a group to play with (and even if I did we couldn't get together anyway.) I like Scrabble, Balderdash, Pictionary and other games like those. I find that the picture drawing games don't translate well to phones for me.

A board game I enjoy playing is called Settlers of Catan but I rarely get to play it. I have the iPhone version on my phone but I've found that the "randomness" of the game is suspiciously suspect in certain situations so I get aggravated that the game is cheating and it isn't as much fun to play. I understand that someone sometimes has bad luck, but to consistently have it in a certain situation is questionable.

Our extended family usually plays games during the holidays and I enjoy doing that. One of the fun games we've played is Exploding Kittens. There are other interesting games we've played but I don't recall any of them by name now. One game we introduced that we love is Telestrations which is essentially the game of Telephone (where one person whispers something to another all the way around a group until it gets mixed up by the end) with pictures and guesses about the pictures. Our group is a little risque so it's surprising what my wife's mom (grandma to a lot of the adult children) comes up with that sometimes shocks them. We're all adults so we're not corrupting minors.

I used to love playing war games when I was in my teens but I haven't played them since. If I found someone who was interested in doing that I might be interested. These are the games that have maps with hexagonal spaces on them and one controls military units, pieces of equipment or individuals depending on the game.

HI Officer. Love "seeing" you here. :D I'd be interested to know what happens when you lose that Flash support. I'm not a card person so never played a game of solitaire though ads for the game always pop after completed plays in other games.

I sense a generational gap here. Does the phrase 'gaming' still cover simple non-electronic based games or has it gone high-tech?
