New Forum... looking for your thoughts

I used to read mostly “True Crime” books many years ago and love solving mysteries.
I also follow most cases that make the news, trying to figure out who did it. Something that isn’t always answered is motive and that interests me as well.

So, I’m in...

Sounds good jo and AM. Since fictional and nonfictional serial killer and mass murderer stories are as fascinating as mafia stories this forum could have a fictional guess who sub forum and a real world accounts opinion sub forum. Either way I think this will attract a sizable majority of the positive thinking membership.

The best way I can express how it would work, is much the same as the General Discussion Forum, where members strike-up conversations and talk about a variety of issues, things, and everything in-between (all related to unsolved cases, crime, murder/mystery, solved cases, etc, etc, of course).

Just thought I'd mention there's an online forum called "Websleuths" that follows and attempts to solve real crimes. It's very interesting if you're into true crime.

Yes! I stumbled upon that site a number of years ago, and while I never joined, it seemed so very interesting to me.

I’m sorry, but I’m still not getting it. Are you speaking about true crimes that are unsolved, missing persons, or something else?

I have access to many unsolved crimes, but to solve those crimes, it will take a lot of investigating and a little luck doesn’t hurt either.

This is a very sensitive subject and one which needs to be handled carefully. The relatives and friends of victims may well read this forum. We must try to speculate without upsetting anyone.

I belong to BDIH forum which is devoted to the Black Dahlia murder of 1947 and have belonged to the Jack the ripper forum as well. We discuss other cases as well. It's all very interesting for arm chair sleuth.
