Ever Have One of Those Days?

Lol...waiting for them to grow into monkey's?...

Wonder what tricks they could do?...:D

That is..of course..if trained properly...
yes, I bet they wanted their money back!
Sorry SeaBreeze for the hi-jacked thread on the horrors of supermarket shopping, ..... it just went that way for some reason [I blame that SifuPhil.];)

Ah come on..no-one sticks to the threads..:D

They just don't listen to you!!!

Taoist philosophers would say that on these kinds of days you are not "in the Tao" - they're one of those days that from the moment your feet hit the floor in your bedroom things start going wrong.

Their prescription to make things right? Boil two frogs and do some breathing exercises. ;)

Great pic, Denise!

Phil, ya dang fool!! If I was having a bad day, all I'd have to do is get on here and read your posts, LOL!! And so much for coffee!!

I was never allowed to have any sea monkeys. Boo hoo. Same problem here too with Walmart checkouts. Their pharmacy ok tho. The Walgreens here have a scam going here at their pharmacies! They say they don't have enough pills to fill one's whole scrip, so have to make a second trip back. I think they do that on purpose hoping that if people have to make more trips, more impulse buying. Stopped going there. & most of their toiletries etc cost way more than WM or Kroger for same brands. Never had that problem with WM. Lots of differences in the Krogers here, "good" ones & not so good. But I ALWAYS check the register tape after the bags are in the cart, before I leave. Have probably caught at least $20 total in mistakes in the last 6 months .

I'll tear you away from that foul addiction yet.

(He said as he sipped from his 128-ounce mug)

A life without sea monkeys is a life unfulfilled.

We shop for 90% of our groceries at Krogers (Dillons). One of our son-in-laws has worked for them for just over 25 years. He started carrying out groceries in high-school, continued while getting a dual degree from the local University, and they have worked him into management. He will have a nice retirement from them.

I have found the Kroger website to be one that listens. We had an issue with the customer service counter at our closest Krogers. I sent them a "comment" via their website. Within days, changes were made that echoed my remarks. The SIL says to always get the name of any person who you feel does not provide the level of service you expect. They wear nametags and the first name should be visible. Then, relay your experience... complete with names... on the Kroger website. They seem to take it seriously.

The SIL's store is across town. We have two in our community and we usually shop at the one closest to our home. At the SIL's store, the HR manager was recently fired. He had been "collecting" complaints and not communicating them to the employees or disciplining any employees. When that was discovered, he was fired without notice. They do seem to expect results from complaints.

I've become familiar with the Kroger we most often frequent. When out of town, I try to find a Krogers to shop at to get the fuel points. It's amazing how you can walk into an unfamiliar store and wander for a long time, looking for an item. (Of course, the exercise doesn't do me any harm, trying to walk off what I'll probably gain with what I purchase!)

My pharmacy plan required me to switch to Target pharmacy this year. Phooey! They do the same thing....don't have "enough" pills to fill your prescription, even though it's a very common generic pill. I'm looking for another pharmacy provider; we're out on the road 4-5 months at a time and it's not always easy to find a CVS or a Publix (the other two providers). Targets are easier to find, but I want to go back to Walmart for my pharmacy needs. They've NEVER been out of a sufficient quantity of meds.
