What classic T.V. show do you like?

@Gaer all your choices are great, my favorite was 'The Millionaire' from the late 50's. Never made it to our house but I kept watch.

Twilight Zone (if you have HULU, they have all 5 seasons)
Golden Girls
Outer Limits
St Elsewhere

I enjoy the old PBS cooking shows such as Julia Child, Justin Wilson, and Jacques Pépin.

Among the regular TV shows I've enjoyed are:

Twilight Zone
The Honeymooners
Lassie
Littlest Hobo
Banacek
Mission Impossible
Three Stooges
Wide World of Sports
Star Trek (orig series)

I'll probably remember another few later on ...

For me, the shows I liked the most were:
Carol Burnett
The Odd Couple
Frazier
Mash
Twilight Zone
Mary Tyler Moore show
The Honeymooners
All In The Family

I like dark stuff, so it's The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and Tales from the Dark Side for me...

Thinking about old shows brings up a childhood memory of mine. I love watching I Love Lucy. It came on at 8 pm. My bedtime was 8:15 pm. My Mother insisted I go to bed at 8:15 she wouldn't even give me 15 more minutes to watch the end. So I would ask her "Mom did I have my Milk ?" She would say YES then I would ask "Mom did I have my cookie." and again she would yell YES. I tried everything to stay up until the show was over, but it never worked for me.

I think your mother was wrong, @Sassycakes and it reminded me of an unpleasant memory of my mother, when I tried the same trick, only with water. She must have been really sick of me that day since asking for water flipped her out and she yelled "I'm going to spill that water down your tonsillitis!" and proceeded to give me the waterboarding technique. I'll obviously never forget that!

I definitely would have let my child stay up those 15 minutes. So, my mother taught me a valuable lesson on what not to do, even when you're all stressed out and want your kid gone for the night.

I loved that one too.

And Loretta Young’s Masterpiece Theatre. Not sure if that’s the correct title. She sure was classy.
As a young child I remember The Sunday Award Theatre.

Sunday's were always so great for good shows, but the downer about Sunday's was knowing there was school in the morning.
