I'm going to suggest I'm being ignored, perhaps a bit more than usual, (not really on this forum, where one can easily whip up a storm if the mood takes one!).
My lawyer is ignoring me too much I feel, and of course I'm paying him to give me such treatment, recent excuses being he had to look after his sick daughter, (understandable obviously), then we've had IT troubles on the work place computer system, (again yes, understandable), and if he replies to my emails and messages he often replies late on Friday evening so you can't expect whatever it is to be dealt with until after the weekend, and often it takes another week, and finally because of the pandemic my lawyer is only in his own head office building once a week, (again understandable!), then fails to dig out from the information required from the notes only he seems able to access, when I've done my level best to explain it clearly.
I could go on further, (his secretary is about as inaccessible as you can imagine, and seems to think passing on information to him isn't part of her job description). I'm guessing when difficulties like this surface somewhere there is a lack of goodwill, and it is the case, when we've spoken on the telephone there is a tendency for each of us to speak over the other. Maybe its a macho thing, but in my defence I haven't experienced quite the same thing before with previous lawyers, and my first lawyer remains a social media friend, (as does his former secretary), so it can't be all my fault I claim!
Moving on, I'm not quite getting the attention I deserve in my life beyond legal matters, and if you feel there is a pattern here you could be right, or maybe I need to choose better friends!
