There is no one better than a good cop.Not surprised. It's open season on law enforcement.
OK, so you're entitled to your opinion. It's not open season on law enforcement.
Does your husband usually threaten to kill the people he's trying to arrest? Even before knowing whether or not they're even armed?Yes, there are bad police officers, just like there are bad priests, bad teachers, bad doctors, and bad members of every other profession. But most of those other professionals aren't out there laying their lives on the line for the general public.
I would invite anyone who needs help to call a drug dealer to save you next time instead of someone like the father of my little ones who is out there putting his life in danger every time he buttons up his uniform and drives off in his patrol car.
What got the suspects to this point? Well, you and I know it probably wasn't for passing gas in Sunday School or ripping the label off their new mattresses....OK, so you're entitled to your opinion.
Over 100 (last count was 115) law enforcement people have been killed in the line of duty so far in 2021.
I am curious as to what got the suspects to this point?
The pandemic? 63 of them died from covid.OK, so you're entitled to your opinion.

Yes, I was in another county here in PA on Tuesday and was driving through the largest city in that county. I decided to stop at a convenience store to get an iced tea and maybe a snack. When I was coming out of the store, I heard gunshots (4 of them) that were maybe a half block away. I grabbed the lanyard with my “retired” badge on it and took off running. I saw someone run between 2 houses, so I yelled “He’s over here.”Being a cop, over the past couple of years, has to be one of the Worst jobs a person can have. Between all the negative publicity on the media, due to the actions of a Very Small minority of the police, and all the protests and threats of defunding, etc., many of the police are abandoning that career. This will ultimately lead to a rise in crime, and make the vast majority of our people more likely to be victims of the criminals.
Hardly a day goes by, anymore, without a report of a major shooting....and I suspect such incidents will only continue to increase.
Gun and ammo sales are skyrocketing as more and more people are concerned that they may have to fend for themselves.
They don't seem to be too interested in what it takes to catch them. I called in something on a neighbor down the alley from me. Told them what they looked like...what they were doing and what house they were at. They're response was that since they didn't know who it was they couldn't just go down there. They had to catch them in the act. Someone I work with knew who the guy was so I got his name and address and contacted the landlord cuz they were destroying property. Haven't seen them since. They could've caught them several times over in the past couple years but wouldn't.Yes, I was in another county here in PA on Tuesday and was driving through the largest city in that county. A cop arrived about 30 seconds later and was more concerned with who I was than chasing his suspect. I was like, “Well, forget it now.”
We spoke for about 2 or 3 minutes when his Sgt. showed up. First question was if we saw where the suspect went. I told him I think between the 2 houses. They looked at each other and then left. I stood there scratching my head.
On Wednesday, I read online that one known druggie killed another known druggie. I had a feeling that the cops knew who the suspect was.
I remember that one well. (A previous Derek Chauvin)There is no one better than a good cop.
There is no one worse than a bad cop.......
or, a good cop who covers for a bad cop.
It's not open season on law enforcement. People just want our police to be honorable and to protect and serve. Not kill people for no good reason. Keep in mind that it isn't just people of color who have suffered losses.

Why did that cop have to terrorize that man? When that man was laying down, the cops could have walked over to him and would have seen that he was not armed. Can you imagine the fear that man must have felt while orders were being shouted at him? It's this unreasonableness that people are against.
THANK YOU!!!!! Unfortunately some people just don't get what you've mentioned. I bet if it happened to them, or even a close family member, they'd change their tune. I love the quote you started out with. Thank you again. There is no one better than a good cop.

Job well done, just another day of service. Here is one it did happen to.
The father of Kelley Thomas was a police officer. Kelley Thomas was a homeless person who was tortured for 30 minutes & murdered by three police officers.

That is exactly how I see it, too.I remember that one well. (A previous Derek Chauvin)
Two things are quite obvious:
1. That cop was enjoying terrorizing his victim.
2. That cop was determined to find a reason to kill someone.......ANYONE would do.
