Free beer, pot and doughnuts. Savings bonds. A raffle ticket for a snowmobile. Places around the U.S. are offering incentives to try to energize the nation’s slowing vaccination drive and get reluctant Americans to roll up their sleeves.

What a buggered up world we live in.

Pathetic.

Yes it is. I don't know of a time this world wasn't buggered up. I just think when we're young we don't know any better.

All these 'incentives' are contradictory

I thought one wasn't supposed to drink for a week or two before and after getting the vax. Then they're giving pot/a joint for someone to smoke-hellooooo, smoke and respiratory disease/symptoms many will experience after the vax. And donuts, Obesity one of the top comorbidities. And a lotto ticket for an ATV-how many accidents a year in those things.

If you have to lure/lead a mouse through a maze with cheese on a sting what's the point.

Yes ... do any two people agree about anything?? .... None of it makes sense at all.

I don't know about the pot part of it, but I've never heard anything about not drinking, let alone for a week or two. They said nothing about drinking at all.

Well, I never got any such instructions. Too late now, I had my second shot in February. One thing I'm sure of is that I definitely had no alcohol the day after that second shot. I was so nauseous that I couldn't even drink a sip of water until later in the day. Alcohol was the furthest thing from my mind.

(But at least I know I am immunized. That stuff was definitely doing something in my body!) 😁
