Fellows - Do You Tuck in Your Shirt?

Is your shirt tucked in or over your pants?

Kids of the 50s & 60s, & maybe 70s were trained to tuck in their shirts. Have you kept up this style?

My husband has his shirts, even a t-shirt if he wore one, would be tucked in. At times he tried not tucking, looked in the mirror and tucked it in. He is slender, which helps.

I see slender young men wearing their shirts out and they look good if the shirts are freshly pressed.
 

I walk about a mile day. Now that it is warm out I am taking my shirt off and tucking my shirt in my short pants...SO THEY DON'T FALL DOWN! :) Get my exercise and the Sun's vitamin D. Took our dog on a walk by the River today. She was very happy.

Other wise ....OUT.
 
Jules, my husband wears his shirts both ways depending on the style of shirt.

He doesn't wear t-shirts outside the home, so those are tucked in or left out, as for dress shirts, he wears those tucked neatly in, and as for casual sports shirts, he likes to use his thumb and tuck a little tuft in at the back (right side of his waist) and leave the rest hanging.

His shirts are always impeccably pressed, I know because I press them, with smart and formal looking button-down collars, and he looks studly either way.
 
We are getting into the hot part of the Summer down here on the Texas Gulf Coast - hot and steamy.....

The quick drying Fishing Shirts with Ventilated backs made of very light weight and UV blocking materials are very common down South....

Now that I am retired - I usually wear my Shirts Untucked. For OWB Carry the untucked shirt is best.

If ms gamboolgal and I are going out to dinner or someplace requiring a Tucked In Shirt then Tuckable IWB Holster.
 
Depends where I am going. For example, in for restaurants, out for supermarket. You can usually judge if a place is "up tight, tucked in and buttoned down."
 
wore tucked in shirts in the military.. after,went home to visit gram made me pull shirts out,said girls didnt like boys with there shirts tucked in, never tucked em in since! did it make a difference? .. nope
 
I have been retired for 24 years and live in a warm climate. I wear t-shirts year round most of the time.

I always tuck in any shirt that I wear, untucked is sloppy looking
 
For me, it depends upon the weather/temperature. If it's cool enough to require a jacket, I tuck the shirt in. If it's warm, and we're not going anywhere other than a trip to the stores, etc., I don't tuck it.
 
I tuck my dress shirts in. Most work days from autumn through spring I wear jeans and a dress shirt even though I don't go into the office anymore. That's been my "work" uniform for many years. A lot of my colleagues wear t-shirts or polo shirts to work but for me I like the dress shirt. During the summer when working at home I'll often wear shorts and a Hawaiian style shirt.

When I wear a polo, Hawaiian style or t-shirt I leave it untucked.
 
I always tuck it. I don't like the untucked, hanging out look.
