According to the article ,"They have the support of Seattle City Council president and mayoral candidate Lorena Gonzalez and the Seattle Human Rights Commission." I doubt a mayoral candidate carries much legal authority, nor do the other "supporters". I think somebody with a brain in their head will pull the plug on any white reparations at a public park. Jackasses.

Well since that park is undoubtedly on Native land, I say they all pay up and quit the pretentious BS. And while they are at it, they all need to move and/or start paying daily reparation fees for the land they are living on.

Well, I am a straight heterosexual male so I never attend any of those parades. Can't understand why they need to dress up queer and parade down any street. As far as what they do at home I don't care but what is the point of parading down the street? I haven't heard of any heterosexual males/females having the urge to parade. Maybe more people need more hobbies or maybe more chances to volunteer for a worthy cause. Parading for some fringe cause only leads to problems but then "who am I to blow against the wind." I live in a small town. No parades here, thank god!

I think they should go further and require everyone to show up with a print out from ancestry.com so people could be grouped accordingly. People of British descent could pay famine reparations to people of Irish decent, Greek descent could make payment to the Turks, the Saxons could apologize and pay reps for running roughshod over the Celts. Those with ancestors from New Zealand could pay to the Maoris, and Australians to their first nation people. Half the people from Ohio would need to pay German-reparations to everyone of Jewish descent.

The only people who probably wouldn't have to pay anyone would be Native Americans, but then I think if you can prove one of your ancestors died in the military to keep us all safe from each other, then we should all owe you reparations for that.

All joking aside, I think this sort of thing is straight up racism. It's just another way of making people with light skin feel guilty, unwelcome and hated.

I guess you missed the parade down the street to our Capitol building where a couple of people were killed (but I realize none of their sympathizers give a s--t about that) and others were injured. Property was damaged and people were threatened.

Our country, such that it is becoming, took the first step in becoming a disgrace across the globe.
