So money does buy some comfort.
Endless love for me, it doesn't pay the bills, but money doesn't buy happiness either.I am not sure. However, at the age I am now, I would say Endless money - Love don't pay the bills. But I love love so this is a hard one for me,
Endless love for me, it doesn't pay the bills, but money doesn't buy happiness either.
I'll go for a 70/30 % mix of Love/Money or something like that.![]()
Amen!!!!!! In life 2+2=22..I hear you. Sometimes no matter how hard you try for a balance in life, 2 and 2 just refuses to add up to 4
I agree.. and it can buy me a great dinner and glass of wine. This requires some serious thought., One good acquaintance says, "Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a beer, which is close enough," My father once put up a sign in the kitchen that said, "Kissin Don't Last, Cookin do" Such practical advice runs counter to the gist of the movie Princess Bride and all of the Hallmark Channel movies. Since nothing is really endless and the two aren't mutually exclusive, I'll go for a 70/30 % mix of Love/Money or something like that.![]()
I agree. If they sold all they had and gave to the poor then they would be poor. God wants us to live abundantly...not selfish but abundantly. Which to me is sharing with the less fortunate.People with money usually say they don't believe money brings happiness. Of course, none of them would do as their Bible requires by selling all they have and giving it to the poor.
Or fake Love to enjoy your endless moneyI found that endless money attracts endless love.
We are opposite. In my younger days I'd take endless love without a doubt. Now that I am older and in the mist of love with my hubby. Show me the $$$$$$.Money can definitely make you happier if you don't have enough to live like you want to, and if you're happy, you're more likely to find loveāespecially if beforehand you were angry and depressed about your situation. So I would take money.
Then again, at this age, money doesn't really mean that much. Love is much more important.
So, in my younger days, I'd take endless money. Now, endless love, as long as I have a decent place to live.
I agreeWe want most what we don't have. And vice versa.
I would be thinking awwww thank you God for a life well lived. I was able to travel, help others financially that were in need, etc. To me, having $$$ is about helping others. And I can say a lot of people that have endless $$$ do help others. I am not a millionaire or anything but I do what I can in different ways. With endless $$$$ I could do even more and would. When we're all dead and buried will any of it really matter, (to be really morbid for a moment!).
However, between the choices given, "lying on your death bed" will you be thinking of all the money you've spent or maybe of those you've loved, and and made a difference to, and those who have loved you in return and made your life more worthwhile far beyond any amount of money could do?
Exactly my thoughts.Endless love for me, it doesn't pay the bills, but money doesn't buy happiness either.
I was told a story last night in a bar about a farming friend/acquaintance of us all who was very rich and successful in business, and very parsimonious or tight with his dough, when on his death bed, knowing he'd never leave it other than in a box, stated "Money means nothing"!I would be thinking awwww thank you God for a life well lived. He was no fool at all, so unless he'd slipped completely at the end, this was his honest view, though I admit he'd loved making all his money!![]()
I agree with him... "Money means Nothing" - not unless you put it to good use..jmo.I was told a story last night in a bar about a farming friend/acquaintance of us all who was very rich and successful in business, and very parsimonious or tight with his dough, when on his death bed, knowing he'd never leave it other than in a box, stated "Money means nothing"!

I am going to do a reverse... Endless love with a man with $$$$$$...Endless love from a woman with money.
