When Will You Die

Error. Sorry. It was a good film but so sad.
Right..it was Tim Robbins character..but I do not know why I hear it in Morgan Freeman's voice. I did look it up though, and some places say both said it..others said just Robbins.
May be an excuse to watch it again.

They did both say it and I remember that way too. Tim Robbins WROTE it in a letter Morgan Freeman was reading so they both did say it and we're both right about that.

My husband told me early on, he had a really strong feeling he would die when he was 60. As his 60th birthday approached I was very nervous..then I kept it in the back of my mind for the entire year and only relaxed when he turned 61..well he died at 79...
I don't know if I want to find the predicted date.
I wonder if it caused anyone to change some not healthy habits....

My one cat has a large inoperable tumor. The vet gave him six weeks to live back in late January. It’s now later July, and the boy is still very much with us, confounding the prediction. He doesn’t know that he was supposed to die in March, and I sure haven’t told him. As I once overheard one elderly lady say to another, “Oh, I’m gonna live until I die!” There is wisdom in that perspective...

Every day that I wake up I announce to myself that I will live another 10 years. Every day I do this.
It's not how much time we have left but what we do with the precious time allotted to us.

One day I won't wake up. I just hope I remembered to use the time well.
