Time to Fall Back again...change those clocks

Ok I’ll own up…. I love DST and look forward to it every year

B/C I am a big fan of lighting candles and enjoy that extra time to relax and enjoy their beauty

but I get others concerns and gripes.

Long as we are owning up I do like that extra hour we get when it ends. Maybe we should just add more hours to more days... no more going back.

I'd like every month to be a nice even 28 days. At the end of the year we could add all the extra days to the end of December and extend the Christmas holiday.

Changing the clocks never bothered me when I was younger, but now like everything else I don't like change. What is the purpose of time change? All I think of is my husband having to climb on a ladder to change the clock hanging on the wall in our kitchen.

How long has the US had Daylight Saving and do all states observe it?
Tasmania, where I was born began Daylight Saving in 1967
I now live in Perth Western Australia and we do not have Daylight Saving. There have been at least 3 referendums to judge the views of the public, 3 times rejected.

Only Arizona & Hawaii do not change their clocks. Don't remember when it started.

Over 100 years in places, and though most states observe it all do not, Arizona for example. It has a long and irrational history...
