I can categorically state no one has ever told me I was their hero, though I've felt that way about others, (I'm referring to people I know, not high profile people who many might describe as a hero).
Many of us maybe felt one or other of our parents were a hero to us, in our early life or maybe well beyond, (so far as my feelings toward my dad!).
I may have been guilty too of putting my wife/girlfriend on a pedestal, though this isn't really feeling they were heroes, but of course it was a mistake nonetheless.
How about you, have you ever been considered a hero, oh and I must just mention a "forum hero", (but they knows who they are so I won't mention their name).
