Anyone here ever tried it ? Just for perhaps feeling better in general ?

They sure 'pitch-it' hard on TV ...... Supposed to lower BP, dilate arteries , improve gut health, etc .

Well, I tried it years ago. i didn't notice any difference. Thought it was expensive. But then, I'm pretty healthy anyway.
RGP, I ALL FOR nutrients of all kinds! Much better to take nutrients than prescriptions!
Try it! I'dlike to know if YOU notice any difference!

Well ........ maybe I'll do just that .......... I tend not to 'jump' into anything , but if I do , I will post my opinion here.

No, I am talking about the 'supplement' that they push in TV infomercials ........ I eat beets on occasion but this is intended as an every day 'supplement' .
We bought it a couple of times years ago just to try it, didn't notice any difference (which can be said for many supplements), but we both decided not to order anymore. My husband likes beets a little bit, might get a can once a year mix it with onion and make a salad, but he doesn't love them. I don't like them at all, that's why I tried the supplement.

There's actually been some good studies on the value of beet juice* to lower blood pressure as well as other benefits. I started drinking 6oz per day five days ago -- will let you know if my blood pressure goes down.

@dseag2 is now my hero for drinking half a bottle. I hate the taste but drink it just before lunch and hope the taste will be gone after lunch (not completely.)

As a rule I believe most supplements are a useless waste of money.

Look for peer reviewed studies showing some benefit (and a lack of adverse effects), if you can't find this just don't waste your money.

Real beets are good.
And if I can add: don't bother reading regular reviews, as many companies pay people to write those things.

Well, since I do not know clinically I'll just post an opinion .

That being that I believe vitamins & supplements are very similar to medicines in the fact that they will/do effect everyone differently.

Take 20 people and give them each an aspirin ....... there is a good chance that all 20 will react differently to too the aspirin.

As such, I believe some folks might actually recieve some benefit from supplements ..... whereas others might never notice any effect ......... and just pass it in their urine.

That is why I asked for experience versus theroy.
