We have many news outlets in my country, why would I be constrained to listen to only one? Frankly, I watched the news rather than listened to it. This software engineer was but one of
many people purporting to speak for the convoy. You may base your opinions on the words of one individual, but I prefer a more balanced view, acquired from many sources. I saw
people being interviewed who openly admitted they advocated the overthrow of our current government. They admitted they hated our Prime Minister and wanted him gone. Fine, next
election, vote him out. Sedition is not acceptable in Canada. I also saw Confederate flags flying, and white supremacists spouting hateful rhetoric. Right wing extremists rarely seen in
the Land of the Maple Leaf. Some had definitive American accents. I find it rather amazing that you seem to believe we Canadians are unaware of what goes on in our own country. But then, in the
past, you have stated Canada is a terrible country, with eroding social freedoms, almost a dictatorship, so it is logical to assume you don’t think much of the way we do things.
