I just got off the phone with a younger cousin of mine. My Aunts always favored her older sister more than her. I love her and always held her close. She reminded me that her older sister had committed suicide 23yrs ago on March 12th. Before she committed suicide her husband left her for another woman. She had joined Scientology a few months after her husband left her. We found out she had donated $50,000 to them. Her neighbor told the police that the day she committed suicide there was a car in her driveway all day. They found out it was a member of Scientology's car. Her body was hung in a special way facing her front door. The Police were shocked that she could have easily gotten down from the position she was in. We have always believed that the man that was with her encouraged her to do it and that she would come back to a better life. We also believed that she felt her ex-husband would send her flowers on Valentine's day.
I remember like it was yesterday when I heard what happened, I ran to my Aunts house. My cousin and I went to talk outside. I said I still remembered saying I still remembered the day she showed me her engagement ring. All of a sudden her ex-husband put the ring next to me. I couldn't believe it when he had gone to her house after she died and took her ring. I saw his name on Facebook and it turned my stomach.
Do you believe someone would sit there while someone else committed suicide?
