I'm 75 and have worn a watch since I was in nursing school back in '68. A cell phone is more cumbersome to carry around then a watch on my wrist
Most dogs have an unusually good sense of direction too. They can find their way back to the car as good as a GPS, so now you don't need a phone, watch, or compass. No need for either most of the time .. my dog lets me know when it's time to get up, go walking, eat, etc.![]()
can your dog tell you when your late for the dentist ?No need for either most of the time .. my dog lets me know when it's time to get up, go walking, eat, etc.![]()

BTW I don't have a cell phone, just a text device, Jitterbug...When I retired in 2005 I threw away my two wrist watches,
and have never regretted it......
Some of those "collectors items" are actually wind-up watches the younger generations don't know how to operate because they don't know where the battery goes.....I like watches. I bought 2 by mail, only to find out they didn't have batteries. I also found nice watches at a thrift shop- but the cashier said they were only collectors' items and didn't actually work.
