Legally speaking, it won't fly. It only shows a tendency for cross dressing. If this isn't what shows advanced premeditation, I don't know what would.

He looks like something from another planet.
Illinois does not have the death penalty. Cities have no legal involvement in it, period, even if ILL had the DP, as Capital crimes are tried in State Courts.I couldn't agree more... does Chicago have the death penalty ?
O M G!?! Whoowee.....spot on!! And crazy ta boot!He looks like something from another planet.
ANY defendant has a Constitutional right to plead Not guilty, period.Heard on the News...he pleaded not guilty!?!?!
How can that be.?
Except..." For reasons of Insanity"?
Any legal-eeses...out there...care to comment?
T Y, right!ANY defendant has a Constitutional right to plead Not guilty, period.
Once again, you're showing you ignorance by using the "slanted media" term "assault rifle".From what I've read and seen on the news about this, I think all of the hate expressed here is misplaced. This guy is clearly as nutty as a fruitcake. The meaningless killings without any motive, the randomness of it, the fact that he was getting ready to do another mass shooting in another town, the fact that he has a history of attempted suicide, and even that business of dressing like a woman while on the run from the police, all seem to me to point to severe mental illness. No, I'm not making any "excuses" for him, there are no excuses. But it seems to me that the real blame should go to the gun lovers who are happy to set the scene for one mass murder after another, by refusing to ban sales of these assault rifles. There is absolutely no reason on earth that a civilian should be able to go into a gun shop and buy one, even legally, even without a history of prior gun violence. (Illinois has a "red flag" law; it didn't help.) What possible legitimate reason could there be for any civilian to need such a weapon?
The legislature of each state, or better still, the U.S. Congress, should pass laws absolutely banning this kind of weapon, except for use when needed by the military and police. There should be a heavy fine, or even a prison sentence, for any gun dealer or employee in a gun shop who violates this.
In my opinion, the insane shooter was really just a middleman. The real criminals were those who made it possible for him to have a gun. Including his father, who I believe was involved.
That's true. But looks don't mean much.He looks like something from another planet.
No he doesn't look normal to me, and if I was selling guns, I'd be very concerned about him having one..That's true. But looks don't mean much.
Does this guy look normal? (Las Vegas shooter - killed 51)

He looks like a drawn cartoon, not an actual person, at least not in this pic.He looks like something from another planet.
Is that his mug shot. Or could just be a bad photo - we all have those. That's true. But looks don't mean much.

I disagree. I think he's a sick phuk. From what I've read and seen on the news about this, I think all of the hate expressed here is misplaced. This guy is clearly as nutty as a fruitcake.
A "not guilty" plea is a term of art. It means that the prosecution has to prove that the defendant committed all elements of each crime charged, beyond a reasonable doubt, for each crime charged.Heard on the News...he pleaded not guilty!?!?!
How can that be.?
Except..." For reasons of Insanity"?
