When feeling a little down, what is your best way out?

When/if you are in a 'funk' or mild depression or just feeling a bit down or 'out of sorts' what is your best method to get out of it? I usually use music and a lot of self-talk. I don't really like complaining to a friend so I try to get out of it on my own. Meditation is good. Exercise helps me and my favorite form is dancing to an 'oldie but goodie" song especially one that takes me back to a great memory. If you also do this, what song do you choose.
I am curious how others handle these feelings..

I do not have one go to song but i do that too.... find long walks or tackling anything i put off ...... helps
lately i want to talk with others and am finding most simply do not listen .........
I avoid talking to others unless I really need some advice or info..I hate anyone feeling sorry for me and do not want to bring them down

I try to find what is really bugging me. It's usually something stupid I did, or someone did or said something to offend me. Then I write it down describing everything as best I can. I read what I wrote and that is it. Somehow it puts everything to rest. I've learned not to tell anyone else, because 10 times out of 10 they give some glib answer as if it is nothing I should be down about, then I'm depressed about that too.

Get outside, take a walk. Carry on a in depth conversation with the dog.
My husband used to talk to our dog in good moods and not-so-good moods..I never was in the habit but he always enjoyed doing so...
My father used to tell me he would talk with his dog and the dog would get up and go around and around in circles as if he was really trying to understand what was being said...
