Hmmm. We have no way of knowing what their financial priorities are. Who knows when they received these tattoos, or what their financial situation was at that time?A few days ago, I made a quick stop at the local grocery store, and the couple in line ahead of me were both covered with tattoos. When it came time to pay, they whipped out their Food Stamp card. They obviously have their financial priorities wrong.
Well, they were fairly young....late 20's/early 30's....so I doubt they have been doing this for many years. I don't know how much tattoos cost, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they have "invested" thousands on this nonsense....and have to rely on the government to feed themselves.Hmmm. In my job, one often deals with young people who are indigent. Some of them have extensive tattoos. Very few would choose getting inked over a place to live, or a full stomach. People’s lives can, and do crash and burn, for a variety of reasons. Mine certainly did. I worked with the New York State Police and saw numerous arrests with photos taken of tattoos for identification. Marked for life, individuals may as well have a tag imprinted.One thing about "tats " is that they are a good way to identify dead bodies that come up someplace. Here in Canada it has been a standard Police practice for at least 3 decades to photograph tats on convicted persons, and add the photos to their Federal Corrections file. JimB.
