- The author talks about a gender gap in four year higher education attainment. In 1972 the disparity was 13% in favor of males. Now it's 15% in favor of females.
- Men, on average, earn less today than they did in 1979, which is related to the collapse of traditionally male jobs in manufacturing and heavy industry.
- Later in video, author claims there's a 60-40 female/male population, which is a 20% disparity — not 15% as claimed earlier.
- There's been a decline in male teachers in primary education, which affects motivation for boys to go on to higher education.
