I really like the colours and styles of your trainers.
I think my love of shoes started when I was about 5 years old and mum bought me a pair of black t-bar cloth (plimsol like) shoes for school and I really wanted the white ones. A couple of weeks later, mum bought me the white ones and I was so proud, i thought I was probably the only girl in the world who had two pairs of shoes!thanks Trish.. .. and still I have Sandals high heels and flats which are not shown in the pictures.. I promise I don't have a foot fetish.. or surprisingly a shoe fetish, but I am completely obsessed with not having scruffy or worn footwear..
It's a throwback from childhood..
Do you remember these ?.. I had a pair of the T-bar Clarks shoes. Your daughter's shoes are so cute, I wouldn't have parted with them either.Do you remember these ?.. I had these when I was very small..and I also had these..
...when Daughter was just starting to walk I bought her her first made to measure leather shoes from Clarks.. they were a baby size 3... and she wore them while learning to walk so the toes of course were scuffed.. but I kept those first shoes, and this is them 45 years old now..![]()

ooooh Sasha shoes.. be still my beating heart. I could never afford their shoes when I was younger, but I loved them so much.I had a pair of the T-bar Clarks shoes. Your daughter's shoes are so cute, I wouldn't have parted with them either.
Years ago, I worked near Leather Lane Market and discovered a shop (Italian I think) which sold beautiful made to measure footwear. You could choose one of their styles, design your own or take in pictures from a magazine. They actually weren't that much more expensive than, say, a pair of shoes from Dolcis.
Sacha shoe shop in Oxford Street was great too. I bought several pair of shoes from there and when my favourite ones wore out I took them back to see if they could get me anything similar. They couldn't but, what they did do was take the shoes and three weeks later they arrived in the post, full renovated as new and didn't cost me a penny!
You can tell I am a shoe nerd can't you![]()
Oh no! I couldn't afford Sasha shoes at that age either.ooooh Sasha shoes.. be still my beating heart. I could never afford their shoes when I was younger, but I loved them so much. The ideal when I was a fashionable teen at school was of course to be able to afford shoes from Dolcis and Saxone.. instead of when we were only on a tiny school leavers salary and could only afford shoes from Curtess...which fell apart after about 4 or 5 wears.. but I have to admit, my first pair of Platform sandals were black suede and came from Curtess.. I was 15 or 16
