Your shoe closets, take a look maybe, how many pair of shoes, boots, slippers, etc. do you own?

These are just half of the trainers I own...

I have a cupboard twice as tall with shoes and boots.. and even more trainers..

I was just about to post that @hollydolly will win this hands down - or should that be feet first 😁

I really like the colours and styles of your trainers.
thanks Trish.. .. and still I have Sandals high heels and flats which are not shown in the pictures.. I promise I don't have a foot fetish.:D. or surprisingly a shoe fetish, but I am completely obsessed with not having scruffy or worn footwear..

It's a throwback from childhood..

5 pairs comfy fake Crocs for everyday.

3 pairs daintier real Crocs that I've never worn (I bought them for travel, canceled by Covid).

1 pair leather sandals that I haven't worn in years, but you never know....

**I hate wearing actual shoes, but needs must:

6 pairs runners. 1 for gym, 2 decent-looking pairs (1 for snow, 1 for slush or rain), 1 not-so-decent-looking pair for shoveling snow, and 1 I bought because they were shiny.

15 PAIRS TOTAL.

I think my love of shoes started when I was about 5 years old and mum bought me a pair of black t-bar cloth (plimsol like) shoes for school and I really wanted the white ones. A couple of weeks later, mum bought me the white ones and I was so proud, i thought I was probably the only girl in the world who had two pairs of shoes! :)

I had a pair of the T-bar Clarks shoes. Your daughter's shoes are so cute, I wouldn't have parted with them either.

Years ago, I worked near Leather Lane Market and discovered a shop (Italian I think) which sold beautiful made to measure footwear. You could choose one of their styles, design your own or take in pictures from a magazine. They actually weren't that much more expensive than, say, a pair of shoes from Dolcis.

Sacha shoe shop in Oxford Street was great too. I bought several pair of shoes from there and when my favourite ones wore out I took them back to see if they could get me anything similar. They couldn't but, what they did do was take the shoes and three weeks later they arrived in the post, full renovated as new and didn't cost me a penny!

You can tell I am a shoe nerd can't you :ROFLMAO:

ooooh Sasha shoes.. be still my beating heart. I could never afford their shoes when I was younger, but I loved them so much. 🥰 The ideal when I was a fashionable teen at school was of course to be able to afford shoes from Dolcis and Saxone.. instead of when we were only on a tiny school leavers salary and could only afford shoes from Curtess...which fell apart after about 4 or 5 wears.. but I have to admit, my first pair of Platform sandals were black suede and came from Curtess.. I was 15 or 16

Oh no! I couldn't afford Sasha shoes at that age either.

Saxone! I bought my first pair of platforms from there and, the first time I wore them, I fell off and sprained my ankle, ended up hobbling home shoeless!

There weren't any Curtess shoe shops near where I lived unfortunately but there was a little bargain shoe shop near the school and one year they had these white weaved court style shoes with kitten heels and just about every girl bought them. :D
