What are you starting to like less and less the older you get?

It crushes me to say this but walking. Walking, hiking, used to be my favorite daily pleasure. I would walk for miles just to see what's around the corner. Walked through three towns: Lynn MA to Swampscott to Marblehead and back. Loved so much to walk; to stroll, to ramble on.

Now walking is no pleasure. It's a pain. It's something I do because I must. Very sad about this. Took my freedom away; my freedom to wander.

whaaaat on earth are those ^^^^^^^
Headcheese...It is a traditional snack made of fresh pork belly, pig's ears, garlic, scallions, onions, black fungus (mushrooms), fish sauce, and cracked black pepper. Traditionally, giò thủ (pork head meat pie) is wrapped in banana leaves and compressed in a wooden mold until the gelatin in the pig's ears makes it stick together.

Menudo...The stew's main ingredient of beef tripe (cow stomach) tends to cause contention. Although menudo hails from Mexico, southwestern United States residents have adopted the dish, and it's widely served at Mexican restaurants across the region.

Pigs Feet (Trotters)...Pickled pigs feet is a type of pork associated with cuisine of the Southern United States, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and Scandinavian cuisine. The feet of domestic pigs are typically salted and smoked in the same manner as other pork cuts, such as hams and bacon.

Ewwwwww:sick:

SAD...seasonal affective disorder... Yup. It's a phase. You'll feel better in the spring!
I don't believe that's what it is. Winter has always been my favorite season. I'm depressed over the drought, hate the heat. I'm not sure what this is.

I found a channel on YouTube. A lady that lives in a cottage and she made a comment about getting her home "ready for the evening." I thought that was a nice thing to do.

Also my stepfather disrupts my evening by calling at 7pm. We really have nothing to talk about and it's a wasted 1/2 hour of my life day after day.

I feel for you, because I've always been a big walker, especially in the mountains... can't do it any more... due to the dodgy knee..

Carnival rides like this one shown below. Went on this just last August. Wow, what a mistake! And an old wooden roller coaster ride in July was not so great for the back either. I did OK on the newer "Wild Thing" roller coaster at Valley Fair however. It was kind of eye-opening to see that I was the oldest person in most groups waiting in the ride lines!

Basketball has been out for me for a while now. Knees and back can not take it.

thanks Mrs R .....ewwwww... I ask again... what on earth IS that?
Its just bits of cooked pork in gelatin, pressed into a mold and sliced. It got the name because it used to be made of the leftover bits of meat scraped off a boiled pigs head. My mother ate tons of the stuff. Never got excited about it myself.
