Thanks, Gary for the like. Do you enjoy a good Martini?I watch very little TV, so I don't watch any political jargon and if it is on, I simply change the channel.
Love olives, especially in an extra dry martini.
From local to Washington DC. All self serving crooks in my opinion.Politics, and all Politicians!
SAD...seasonal affective disorder... Yup. It's a phase. You'll feel better in the spring! Also, lately I feel sad when the sun goes down. I used to like the long winter evenings. Maybe it's just a phase.
My husband suffers from that .. Always has , he has a SAD Light at work.. because he works in basically a Faraday BoxSAD...seasonal affective disorder... Yup. It's a phase. You'll feel better in the spring!
Headcheese...It is a traditional snack made of fresh pork belly, pig's ears, garlic, scallions, onions, black fungus (mushrooms), fish sauce, and cracked black pepper. Traditionally, giò thủ (pork head meat pie) is wrapped in banana leaves and compressed in a wooden mold until the gelatin in the pig's ears makes it stick together.whaaaat on earth are those ^^^^^^^![]()
I don't believe that's what it is. Winter has always been my favorite season. I'm depressed over the drought, hate the heat. I'm not sure what this is.SAD...seasonal affective disorder... Yup. It's a phase. You'll feel better in the spring!
I have NEVER been able to tolerate those people.. they really get my back up..Aggressive, pushy, loud-mouthed people.
thanks Mrs R .....ewwwww... I ask again... what on earth IS that?
I feel for you, because I've always been a big walker, especially in the mountains... can't do it any more... due to the dodgy knee..It crushes me to say this but walking. Walking, hiking, used to be my favorite daily pleasure. I would walk for miles just to see what's around the corner. Walked through three towns once: Lynn MA to Swampscott to Marblehead and back. Loved so much to walk; to stroll, to ramble on.
Now walking is no pleasure. It's a pain. It's something I do because I must. Very sad about this. Took my freedom away; my freedom to wander.
Not grouchy, just definitive.@oldaunt Geez. Grouchy much? You must have missed the "light-hearted" subheader on General Discussions...
@Been There I'm not much for martinis but sure do like the "marinated" olives![]()
Its just bits of cooked pork in gelatin, pressed into a mold and sliced. It got the name because it used to be made of the leftover bits of meat scraped off a boiled pigs head. My mother ate tons of the stuff. Never got excited about it myself.thanks Mrs R .....ewwwww... I ask again... what on earth IS that?![]()
