Thanks Tish..:) but I'm sure others would have a different view to me.. but here are facts about him...

At a time when millions are struggling with the Tory cost-of-living crisis, the UK is being lead by a man who is even richer than the King

Sunak and his wife, Akshata Murty, are sitting on a combined fortune of about £730m – roughly double the estimated £300m-£350m wealth of King Charles III and the Queen Consort.

Meanwhile, as all of our Energy bills are going through the roof.. Rishi Sunak said it was “silly” to provide support.
Worse still, he’s preparing to impose a new wave of austerity cuts which will further harm the already struggling public services, pushing more people into poverty.

While he was Chancellor, Rishi Sunak ushered in a new era of Conservative cuts, slashing Universal Credit for families during a cost of living crisis – while consistently opposing measures to support struggling households.

In October 2021, during the pandemic, Sunak has cut Universal Credit by £80 per month , imposing the biggest cut to social security since World War Two and affecting millions of people on benefits

Meanwhile, people on legacy benefits, which includes many lone parents and disabled people, have been altogether excluded from UK government’s additional support throughout the pandemic.

He was born in May 1980 just 42 years old ... is a Multi millionaire Entrepreneur ....

He was previously Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 24 July 2019 to 13 February 2020, and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
He's the former chancellor whose resignation set in motion a chain that brought down the Prime Minister. And now Richmond MP Rishi Sunak wants to take that top job for himself.


Mr Sunak, 42, is popular with Conservative MPs having come top of the ballot of his colleagues looking for a next leader. But the polls show he is less popular with party members who make the ultimate decision. In recent weeks Mr Sunak's financial situation, family's tax status, and his partygate fine have all seen his popularity take a hit.

the trouble with this guy is that if he's sober he's not very good at showing it..

I remember when Sunak was caught saying he wanted to take funding away from poor areas and redirect them, there was a Huge HOO-Haa.. and I want to really say more about that.. but I cannot unfortunately , due to the rules of NO politics on this forum,

yeah for sure ..... the last thing we should discuss is the one thing that affects us all.
 

Rishi Sunak born in Southampton in the UK to an Indian family, is the son of a pharmacist mother and a father who is a National Health Service (NHS) General Practitioner.
He went to Winchester College and studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University. He was a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University (USA) where he studied for his MBA.
Rishi spent his professional career before politics in business and finance, working internationally including as an analyst at Goldman Sachs, investment bank.
At the age of 42 years he is the youngest UK prime minister in modern times. Going back in history.. all the way to 1783, there is only one prime minister younger than Rishi Sunak… William Pitt the Younger was just 24 when he took on the role as Britain’s Prime Minister.
I am absolutely delighted to have Rishi as Leader of the Conservative Party, and now, Prime Minister of Great Britain. He is the person we need to pull the country’s socks up.
He has all the qualities necessary. A man of integrity, class and sound business knowledge, which can only be good for Britain.

He's certain to make average people pay for the expenses caused by the pandemic and being shut down for so long instead of making corporations foot the bill. As an ex hedge fund manager he's too close to the corporates and has investments in Moderna. 😖 There's so much just not great about this guy. IDK.
