How much time do you spend on the Senior Forums each day?

I am spending about 9 hours either logged in or checking what is new. My time has increased because I am less mobile now, and like interacting with my friends here. I also spend about an hour playing in the "Games" section, which is new for me ( I make some stupid posts there sometimes...for that matter about
everywhere. How about you. Lurkers count too. :)

The following conversation ensued on the Infostride website between Akpos and his friend, Ochuko:

Akpos: I Have Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Yahoo, Tumblr, Msn, Skype and G-Talk.

Ochuko: Dude, do you have a life?

Akpos: OMG! No! Send me the link.

It was sent to me by my Godson, who thought it funny that I spent my childhood outside, playing at various games or at the recreation park, on the swings, slides and other equipment.

The Games are good for mental health .... and fun!

I start with a line or two to a lady in the States on DM, then an hour or so on the main forum. Then its time to get going on my FB marketplace sales page. Market Place is a good way to supplement my pensions and make a few bucks a day. JimB.

Like others here, I'm off and on. It's entertaining, and is a nice break from work. The other day, I told my son I knew about 60 people here (I could recite your names!). That means a lot, because I'm a person that doesn't remember names! Sometimes I'll send him something funny I read here, or a video from here. There's always something to do!

The main reason that I don't spend as much time here as others is simply because I have yet to retire from work. There are those who categorize the lifestyle of others. According to their dictate I shouldn't be working past retirement date. No matter that my work is like a paid hobby.

That had me thinking about the posts on here of members for whom many an hour is spent here, and possibly other similar sites, or the internet in general. Like my enjoyment from being at work, I applaud those who gain pleasure from the interaction of this forum's members.

There was a time when in my youth, old people had little contact with anyone at all, so many sad and lonely people, how the internet has changed all that. Maybe one day, when my health is not up to going to work, I may contribute a little more, but for now, I shall look in, as and when.

I'm the same as Sunny....roughly half-an- hour or so, twice a day. I'm on other sites too, the others have more British people, who I can relate to better.
